Lost Vikings
This was the second title
for a small developer, then called Silicone & Synapse. I was hired as the companies seventh employee and spent the next 12 years working on every title created by Blizzard Entertainment.
Warcraft
For most of the production of Warcraft, I was the only artist on the project,
drawing and animating most ever game object; designing and creating the UI; and creating the Warcraft logo. I also voiced the peasant in the game.
Blackthorne
To create the animation for this game, I took a coworker out to a park and video taped him running around with a nerf gun and used this as a template for drawing the game hero's animation frames.
Rock 'n' Roll Racing
During the production of Rock 'n' Roll Racing, Blizzard was also hard at work with many lesser known titles, such as the Mac port of Interplay's Castles, and a Mahjong game called "Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye", which I also worked on. This title brought Silicone & to the attention of Davidson & Associates, who later bought Silicon & Synapse. We then changed our name to Blizzard Entertainment..
Death of Superman
During the production of Death of Superman, I was hip-deep in Warcraft production, so my contribution to this production was limited to the title splash screen.
Diablo 2
In order to guarantee the sucess of Diablo 2, all production on Warcraft III was momentarily halted so that our production team could test/play balance Diablo 2.
Starcraft
For Starcraft, we used 3DS Max to create game objects, and then rendered out individual frames into 2D sprites. For this product, I created all the Terran buildings, along with the design for the Starcraft logo.
Diablo
Production of Starcraft was halted to assist Blizzrard North in the production of Diablo. My part in this assistance was work on the User interface for the game, and months of play balance and testing.
Warcraft II
Most of my effort for Warcraft 2 involved working on character animation and design, and working on an unreleased Blizzard title called "Shattered Nations."
Justice League Task Force
This was the title that brought the developer Condor, and Blizzard together. Condor was purchased by Blizzard and named "Blizzard North"
DeBlob
As Art Director at Helixe, a THQ company, I assisted in the direction of this product. The product was completed when THQ shut down Helixe, and this superior version of DeBlob was never released.
Stargate Worlds
My role as Art Director for Stargate Worlds involved hiring a new are production team and establishing the art pipeline for an eventual 2009 release. The financial crisis contributed heavily towards the demised of this product.
Dragonshard
As Art Director, I helped set the look and feel of this game, and assisted in the production.
World of Warcraft
No sooner had i completed my tasks on Warcraft III, but I was moved over to the WoW team to create world textures. My favorite pieces from this product include the Deadmines and the Sunken Temple.
Warcraft III
Take a look at a building in this game, and either I made it or I worked on it. Starting with concept, to meshing, texturing and animating.
Touchmaster 4
This was a port from an arcade machine product by Touchmaster. the interface was implemented in HTML and all the artwork had to be redone to work under Nintendo DS pallet and image restrictions.
Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos
At Doubletap, we were tasked to create a game for this Discovery Channel show with a micro-budget on a short deadline.
World of Zoo
One of three concurrent titles under production at Helixe, this title had only been in production for 1 year when THQ shut down the studio.
Wall-E2
Helixe had a sucessful run, specializing in making licenced Pixar games for THQ. Every title produced by this studio was, under budget, on time and made money for THQ. The studio was shut down in Novermber 2008, at the height of the financial crisis.

Personal
Project 3D portfolio demo using Unity3D |
|
|
This project was created to showcase
my environmental creation skills. I used Unity3D to create this
scene to display on my Amazon Kindle Fire.
Over the space of 3 months, I created all elements in the scene, using
Modo 5.1 for meshing and Maya for the animation.
The UI elements and icons in the scene were implemented using Javascript.
